It is official - Star Wars Galaxies has entered Beta 3! We will be sending out the first 5000 invites this week. After that we will continue to send out invites to eventually ramp the servers up to 50,000 invited testers. Don’t expect to hear too much however as Beta 3 is still under NDA (non-disclosure agreement). We won’t be lifting that until closer to the end of Beta 3.

As many of you know, in early March we announced that our release date has moved. We won’t be releasing in April as anticipated. Although a disappointment to many of our fans, we felt this was the right thing to do to have the game reach the quality bar it deserves. During Beta 2 the game has made tremendous strides in the fun department, but we still have more testing to do to make the game solid and polished.

This month we will continue to give out information on the public site about the starting professions. Additionally, in the first half of the month, there will be a quick movie to show you a narrative slice of game play.
