Off the HoloNet  Star Wars Galaxies in the News

This had been a very busy month on the official Star Wars Galaxies website. In addition to revealing our final feature set for launch, we also revamped the entire FAQ to reflect the current design of the game, made a small flash screenshot of our user interface, listed the remainder of our playable professions, put up 360 degree screenshots of our starting professions and gave away a lot more detail on our Jedi system. Check out the links to the left to get a first hand look at all of these.

Behind the scenes we are ramping up for the launch of the game in mid-April. On Thursday, February 6th, 6 PM PST, we’re hosting a developer’s chat with Executive Producer Rich Vogel, LucasArt producer Haden Blackman, Creative Director Raph Koster and Buildmaster Grant McDaniel. The purpose of this chat is to answer community questions on our Beta 3 schedule, our launch and our priorities in post-release updates.

There is only a little over two months until the game hits the shelves. Might want to get your pre-order in… :)

We've added a couple new fan sites to our Community This month we highlight another great Star Wars Galaxies fan site:

Hyperdrive Radio brings fan sites to a new level with live internet radio shows dedicated to entertaining the SWG community. Airing two nights a week, their format includes music, comedy skits and in-depth discussion about the design of the game. Later this month they will host a live interview with SWG Community Manager Kevin O’Hara. Join DJs Tenchi, Aktrez and Bladelaw in the Stratics hosted chatroom during their enjoyable shows.

Although we strongly support the hard work of our fan site community and recommend you visit their sites, please don't forget to make our official site your home. We've always got the latest information and a great community of fans here.
