Theed
Theed was the capital city of the planet Naboo and was where the Theed Royal Palace was located.
History
Early in Theed's history, the city was just one of Naboo's many city-states. Around 1,000 BBY, the city, along with the others scattered around the planet, was engulfed in a long and difficult civil war. It was not until the rule of King Jafan of Theed that the conflict ended and Naboo was united under Jafan, with Theed as the planetary capital.
The city's famous unified and harmonious architectural style was the result of strict planning regimes and extensive rebuilding after the upheavals of the ancient past. Its sophisticated culture has produced many able and admired galactic politicians, including Senator Palpatine, whose study and early career were based in Theed.
Naboo Crisis
The city was briefly taken over by the Trade Federation in 32 BBY, but freed along with the rest of Naboo after the Invasion of Naboo. During Trade Federation occupation, much damage was caused to the city, resulting in the construction of various new features upon the planet's liberation.
Imperial era

Theed under Imperial occupation.
A battle erupted in the city in 18 BBY, when the Imperial 501st Legion invaded the city, intent on eliminating Queen Apailana and several fugitive Jedi her court had been harboring. The Queen and the Jedi were all killed and Queen Kylantha became the new monarch, meant to better serve Imperial interests.
Theed remained the capital of Naboo even during the Galactic Civil War, and was wrested from Imperial control after the Battle of Endor in 4 ABY.
Keren
Keren was the most important trading city on Naboo, and was a bustling mercantile hub. It was home to one of the planet's starports, named Kwilaan, which was located in its own section in the western edge of the city. Lake Varum lay on the edge of the city. Keren also had a canal curving its way through the middle of the city, which ended at the Keren Grand Arch, which overlooked the city.
Around 32 BBY, Keren was the center of Naboo's small underworld, notably Shep Contopault's and Hesh Verbon's operations. It was then the largest city on Naboo, though this probably changed after the opening of the starport at Theed.
Keren was also the site of the Keren City Street Race. During the Invasion of Naboo, several Naboo guards were stationed in Keren, such as Hexler Pend. They hid in an armory in the city, but were found and forced to surrender as one Multi-Troop Transport knocked their duracrete walls down.

Moenia
Moenia was a large town on Naboo known for its importance as a booming artists' retreat.
Considered by the Empire to be primarily an artist's paradise, it was largely ignored. Moenia became a haven for Rebel Alliance recruiters. It lay in the Lianorm Swamps region of the planet, an area traditionally inhabited by the Gungans. The Aerie Casino was located on the town's outskirts.
Among the city's more famous patrons was the famed poet, philologist, and scholar Ebenn Q3 Baobab. Borvo the Hutt was also known to relax in the local cantina.
Moenia usually had a misty gloom about it, while inside the city one could rarely tell if it was day or night.
Just outside the town was an underground bunker known as Borvo's Vault, and rumors told of it having an acklay and a rancor guarding its secrets.
